Many one-hit-wonder bands have a barely-known song that is as good or better than the one they are famous for.
Examples:
A-Ha - Take On Me, The Sun Always Shines on TV
Lipps, Inc - Funkytown, Rock It
... and probably lots of others, but I'm bad at coming up with "examples of topic X".
